Arapahoe Basin Opens
On Friday, October 13th, Arapahoe Basin opened at 9:00am to officially begin the season for Colorado.
This is A-Basin’s 60th year in operation and had beat long-time season-starter, Loveland by just one day. Both areas only have one lift open (see our Conditions listing for more information).
Initial reviews have been positive but, naturally, only man-made snow is available and no beginner slopes are open at this time. I, for one, am excited just to see the season started already.
