They might extend the date if the conditions are decent enough.. I wouldn't cross my fingers this season, my bet is that April 6th is going to be it. Why is Steamboat closing a week earlier than the others? Is it possible that it will extend its closing date dependent on conditions? Or, is this set-in-stone with regards to the land management rules? (Trying to plan a trip and early April is all that is available due to Easter being in March. Thanks for the info Devin.
